About
Derek P. Hassler is a New York City–based bookwriter and lyricist whose musicals include Queen of the West, CHOICES, and Last Resort. His work has been showcased at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and cabaret venues across the country, with recognition from Prospect Theatre Company, The New York Theatre Barn, and the National Asian Artist Project. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Derek is a proud member of ASCAP and The Dramatists Guild of America.
